Don't bother with them ever. Erratic is an understatement because with the disc-based setup, you'll have generally very soft/easy pod movement and then a sudden stop of all that movement. Instant spin. If you were on carpet and didn't spin and you were using the composite post, you'll find yourself buying a lot of posts. Not one of AE's better engineered/thought-out "improvements" that came in with the L2.

Thought so. Thanks for making it sure

btw i screwed a very long steel screw through the post, almost as long as the post itself to make the post a little more sturdy. I already imagined the post would break off easy with a short screw.

We have free tire rules but usually I´m running spec tires also. They just work the best for me.
What does this special steering setup do for the handling of the car comparing with the other option?
I saw from the pictures you and Mark Burt you both did use this setup even when one of you is using an angled servo and the other one is using a flat servo.
I even never tried a flat servo in any of my pancars.

You can also try to find an old aluminum center post from the 10L/LS era if you're worried about breaking the composite one.

I've run the servo flat in my 1/12 scale for about forever ..... so i've stayed with it. Changing the angle of the arms affect the bump steer and ackerman. I'm not sure I can explain why, it just has worked for me.

Did someone have contact with Doug Powell? I made an order for some parts but it is rather quiet. It has been some time ago.

Doug, if you read this, please make contact as i am waiting for the parts. A message with a timeframe when the parts will be made is ok too.
