Hey everybody! I just thought Id give this a little bump. I know its still a good few months out from the actual race (US Pan Car Championships), but I am considering having a "warmup race" if there is enough interest? Good idea?

Pan car in general in doing pretty well here. I will have the first wide car though. Last week we had 9 racing, including one 1/12th and one F1. I had the fastest time on the track last week out of any class, I was the only one to go 20 laps.

Not bad really. Are there a lot of pan racers out there in Ft. Collins?

Newracer, Thanks for the mail you going to race the 12th?
Do you have the wide body already? I'm thinking of ordering that spacer kit from the info you sent should I do 2 sets?

I wouldn't say a lot but it's getting bigger.

4Playracing- I am going to race every weekend from now until the classic. Don't need the spacer set yet, I might try to fabricate a different top plate to keep the wide pod. I am going to run the car as is first to see how it works.

Hey TD, here's a question for you (and everyone else here for that matter). What would think about running F1 at the US Pan Champs? I know there are already too many classes now (both road and oval), but perhaps it's something to think about. It could only be one class, maybe 19T, as to eliminate overkill. We are getting ready to run the ROAR Regionals next month, so we'll see how many pan cars show up. I expect close to 10 or so for each 1/10 and 1/12, but I'm hoping more make the event. I'll be back in the office Wednesday, so I can get your preliminary artwork to you then.

Ron

Default Date for Saturday

Your PanCar is your date for Saturday.
Has been for a long time.

Richard. You know your PanCar is going to be fast on Saturday. I wonder if your dates on Friday and Sunday are going to be as fast?

We want details. Lot's of details.
