At the Speedline Grand Prix (Gulf Coast Raceway Houston, Texas. 3/29 - 4/1) Scott Kimbrow's Xenon R powered Kyosho Evolva:
1) lowered the single lap record from 15.3 to 14.8
2) lowered the qualifying record from 19 laps 5:05, to 20 laps 5:06
3) TQ'ed by almost 5 seconds over 2nd qualifier

go to the rb site they have lots of info on tuning . but the mid changes the spray bar and may cause the engine to stumble at the hit of the throttle

Has anyone try the new inline pipe for the v 12 series? And how does it compares with the skyline inline pipe? Both roar legal.

i was in las vegas last week and i ran the new VR12Plus with my Rody V12. it was awesome! you won't have to sacrifice bottom for top or vice versa because you'll have it all from bottom to mid to top. another big plus is the fuel mileage. the VR12Plus is a very efficient pipe.

El Buenote BRG 04-30-2006 06:53 AM

Thanks for the info Jo. :)

Anyone still running the .12s? I don't see too many Rody's on the east side or even the V12s. I wonder how would the Standard V12 3 port turbo match up with the .12TZ OS. Might be entering the sedan scene again and I'd like a nice engine. Hey all, the Rody 445 now comes with ceramic bearings! Hmm, that might jack up the price a bit though.

Yep... and 'insider comment' told me that RB is switching to Sirio based mills, seems that are tough times for Nova based mills. If Rody said 'enough' with Nova, things should be very horrendous in Novarossi.

Sorry, for what I see are 'old news'...

They are still awesome fast and street price is $395.00 for the 445 but doubt it in parts support due to switching to Sirio, I believe JP FX engines are Faster for a little more and guaranteed parts support

Actually, RB is expanding their offerings. They just released the C6. Rody doesn't sell a product unless they are able to support it - including parts. Rody answers the Nova question here:

That is good to hear, anyway it is proven that the JP FX 12 T03MT are proven faster than the Rody tuned RB's, and the distributor here in the US are not really doing their job supporting RB products
