People have different preferences. Do you need more torque or top end? What setup do you have for your clutch? Do an overall analysis of what type your track is then choose from there. Check out what the guys have to think here.

i have had my S5 since October 2005 and it is running better everytime i crank it up. i have probably put close to 4 gallons through it. i have noticed in the last gallon to gallon and a half of fuel i have put through it that there is a little bit of moisture accumulation around the front bearing. whenever i take out the engine for cleaning, i notice that the dirt around the bottom of the flywheel is laiden with oil, so a sort of paste has formed around the bottom of the crankcase where the front bearing is. i know this is from some sort of leak, and when i bought my RB i heard that the front bearings were not all that great. just today when i pulled the engine out, after some after run oil had been sitting in the engine for about a month and a half, i saw a lot of oil running from the front bearing and even a little bit at the bottom of the backplate.

what could the problem be? do i need to replace the front bearing for a better one? should i tear the engine down and look for more clues?

well from what i read it sounds like its time to change the front bearing and the back plate seal. but if you do that change the seal at the base of the carb too and the should fix the problem you are having .

I was inquiring about the Xenon and R version, but was steered towards the C6. Is the C6 overall a better motor? I want something powerful enough stock to be useful at 301 raceway's track. Floyd isn't a concern though as everything else I competed against with my Top had a bit more bottom and top end. I was thinking of the Ninja also, but for the price would the Xenon be better?
