"Engine brands just come and go, but the real deals just never slow".

good luck to the new guys, maybe they will end up being one of those who "never slow"

i think that more and more brands go in picco design and not novarossi.
why is that?

Picco has done a great job with the Torque 21 which has awesome power with great fuel economy and they are a good bit less expensive than NR.

That's probably a reason to switch to Picco.

There are no Sonic engines yet, but I've seen a REDS MT7 recently which is also based on the Torque and that engine was simply ballistic...

The thing is that every few years, companies that have their engines produced by an OEM are switching brands. Then every body goes to that brand and they seem to be overwhelmed with the amount of work and the quality is suffering.
Then they all leave and the same thing happens at the next brand.

I hope Picco will be able to cope with the new demand w/o loss of quality....

Sadly enough Picco has a large history on this with many huge ups and downs. But I must say the last 5 years it seems that it is only getting better.

I hope Shepherd will not end the relationship with Novarossi with his own engine brand.

I think it will be a relationship with Picco and IDM ;-)
