Is the Picco Torque Edo piston/liner set a direct replacement for the M7T engine? Looks the same but it's near impossible my neck of the woods to find an original replacement Reds piston/liner set but Picco Torque sets are aplenty.

Default REDS Engines

Hello everybody,

Glad to read so much good about the REDS Racing Engines. We have just received the distribution for REDS Racing Engines here in Denmark.

Unfortunately our season is over for this year, due to bad wheather. But we can't wait to fire these beasts up in the spring :-)...

If anybody in our part of the world needs REDS Engines or accessories please feel free to write: [email protected].

Remeber we do sell without VAT outside of Europe ;-)...

Thanks!

Yes I did, sometime the fuel stuck. Blip the throttle deep to clear some and will be fine, after 5 sec idle, its back to stuck again.
I've found the tip of NSH got damaged, but its brand new engine. T_T

Default Bearings

Hi,

Anyone experienced any issue with the bearings?

Mine had to be changed after break-in and track tuning... aproximately 4 liters had gone thru the engine.

How are your bearings holding up?

Sam

Dear Sam

The bearings should normaly last a good bit longer.

If the clutch is set too soft, it will be slipping a bit. Slipping in a clutch cause vibrations wich will be transferred to the bearings, and then wear them out more quickly. Slipping in a clutch is more likely when braking an engine in then at racing.

Make sure the clutch engage fully, also when you break in engines, and you will observe that the bearings last much longer.

Best wishes; Jens

I've not had any problems with the bearings, so long as you use a good quality fuel. I have run probably 15 litres through without any problems.
