Yeah, he was faster than everyone down the back straight by 3mph (70mph vs 67mph for next fastest) I hear!!

Made me want to get into 1/8 just so I could pull it like that haha.

Topspeed does not say a thing about laptimes. Most of the time the topdrivers with the slowest cars on the straight are running the fastest laptimes because they are setted up to go faster through the infield. The straight is just 3 seconds of a 15 sec laptime and in that time a few mile more or less will make less difference than finding the right gearing for speeding from corner to the following corner on the infield.

Yup, races are won in the corners, however the straights are all about bragging rights hahahah.

Default Torque versions

There are three versions of the Torque .12 and .21

Standard

EDO Mod......crank/sleeve work

Bench Tested.....same as above, but run-in

It doesn't take a long break-in for the Torque as it does Nova based engines. I would suggest for the price difference purchase the EDO.

Whats up Kevin! I noticed the same thing as I am breaking in my Torque now,I noticed the pinch is not as tight as a Novarossi yet the motor spools up nice and smooth. Do you have any EDO .21 conrods and such in stock? Thanks,Ken from up north.

Check the Murnan Modified thread or maybe Kevco can help. I am breaking in a .21 and don'nt want to tell you anything wrong even though the same principles may apply.

The Picco Torque engines are very easy to run in. It is actually hard to hurt the engine during the run in period. If you follow these instructions you will be in good shape.
