Default Mega SP12

It may seem odd, but I've just picked up a new one of these (been sitting on a shelf for a while).

Anyway, the information provided simply says go to www.mytsn.com to get info on the motor, but that web site doesn't seem to exist anymore.

Does anyone have any reference material on this motor? Has the info at mytsn.com been moved somewhere else? Is this an OEM motor from another manufacturer?

Particularly looking for base carb settings and any guidance on running-in, plugs etc.

Phil.

Mytsn is these days called www.serpent.com

I do not think you will find any support, the carb looks like a STS carb so probebly you will find more on the STS website for a base setting.

If the engine is startable then the base setting is not needed.

Thanks guys. It started relatively easily, once I put the heat gun on it and idles smoothly. Looking forward to giving it a run!

You wont have any problem with the engine, it keeps the tune easily and its
easy to adjust. It doesnt have much power but i have found that the nova
2601 pipe or mega 2602 gives the engine stronger mid-top power. Also had
tried the orion pipe and it was good also. However this engine is not full race
but its good for practice.

i had this engine at one time when i started racing, its a geat starter engine, it doesnt have much top but i found it has great bottom end and can keep up with the fast engines in the corners.
