Hows the rear bearing look?

Something was definately rearing its ugly head into the boost port.

I send an email yesterday and this morning got a response! great customer service! I'm considering letting Uriah modify this motor if I decide to buy new P/S set.

I tried swaping pistons with the V12 unfortunatly they are not the same. V12 piston won't even fit inside the R3 sleeve.

That's not a bad idea since the motor wasn't very old. A new P/S, Uriah's mods and you have a killer motor for a bit less than buying an all new one outright.

Oh I know! it was actually my idea since I have the V12 just laying around...

Well the cranckcase, carb., P/S, crankshafts are very different between V12 and R3 I just figure I would be able to change pistons since they are both RB engines. To my surprice the R3 piston is slightly smaller than the V12

Hello everyone! Just wanted to share some pics of my R3 modified by Rick Brake! he really hooked me up, let's just say I paid less than if I had purchased a new P/S set.

He installed a new 5 port novarossi Piston and Sleeve, new front bearing, modified crankshaft, sleeve.
