No excuses he was just being out driven, That A main company is a tough crowd.

Brad's car was insanely fast on the straightaway, but Barry proved that it's not just about ponies. He straight up walked away from everyone from the git go.

Awesome weekend, but tough on motors! I've never seen so many blown glow plugs in one weekend, which turned out to be somewhat of a commodity on the day of the mains.

Watch for it.

ETA: Late May early April

Motorman 04-20-2004 04:21 PM

stefan 04-20-2004 05:08 PM

Barry is the man! I do not race for a living or have a track within 350 miles of where I live either. I play with toy cars for fun and competition.

Kevin I would like to talk to you about doing a couple of bodies for me for the Texas Biggie.

What do you mean no excuse, I have several. Ran out of gas, flamed out in the pits, ran a different motor in the main that was not tuned to my liking, chose the wrong front tires and pushed like a Bee--Yatch! Oh and Barry is a paid professional and my number 1 excuse HEINEKEN!

stefan 04-21-2004 04:23 PM

He he, all the excuses you listed are under your own control, so, no excuses ;)

PM me Brad.
You got nothing to hang your head about. I was wondering what happened to you in the main....:tire:

Motorman 04-21-2004 05:53 PM

When the Brads on he's on, I'll keep him. Not only being a good friend he's loyal as a BEE- ATCH.

I just still can't fathom his ass in a suit, with a bunch 50 year old of aerospace designers working for him. That shit just ain't right!! :)

I just can't picture it.

stefan 04-21-2004 06:13 PM

Dennis, how would it affect the Turbo II pipe if it was run with a header from the regular Turbo pipe.

I had som bending going on with mine and might have to rplace it.

Will it kill the pipes performance?

Motorman 04-21-2004 07:02 PM

It will gain low end and lose some top. probably a couple MPH. RD does have the header seperate.

YBSLOW 04-29-2004 10:11 AM

Dennis what up?

Get any nice packages lately? I need!

GAMBO94 05-01-2004 06:40 PM

OB42TC3 05-04-2004 09:36 AM

YOYOYO where's the MOMO?
You going to Racine Dennis?

whynot 05-04-2004 07:59 PM

Hello all, are these motors just .12 or are there .21 also. How ya doing motorman.I dont have the proceed anymore I am running the evolva now like it so far. talk to you later.
mike

Motorman 05-05-2004 07:58 AM

yes engines will be available through the RD logics dealers in the US and overseas.

Ben
Yes I will be in Racine I have the pipe you requested.

Yes there will be a 21 very soon also. The final 12 prototypes will be here in the states this week. after we pummel them a few races and there blessed production will begin. probably the end of the month. I will have the 12's by racine.

For those who have not heard I have taken over team responsibility for RD Logics. RD is going through a revamp and there is an extensive new product line comming in the near future. Everyone will be shocked. I cant say much more than that at the moment but the ball is rolling bigtime. It will cover multiple cars and will be focusing on hard core race parts including 1/8th scale. Some of the parts that we know are needed but have been lost in the shuffle will become available. there are also more pipes and turbo 2 types of pipes in the works for other cars. The new 26/30 pipe for the monster truck guys running the piccos and serios will be in production in 2 weeks

Eli Ezrow has joined the RD team. He finished in the top 20 at the on road 1/8th worlds last year and is a past triple crown champion. We are glad to have him. Not bad for an Independent.

Thank you to Gary and David Chang of RD for all their support. I am excited beyond belief

RoyU 05-05-2004 08:40 AM

Hey Dennis,

I see you have that Eli guy signed up. You had better answer your PM, I'm sure he needs something to make him faster than he already is.

Motorman 05-06-2004 03:53 PM

Eli
got it covered

I should have the clutches next saturday. you will be able to get them from me direct. there 12.00 shipped if you want to preorder one or two. I'm making a hundred in the first batch. They will go fast. were recommending the mugen silver hard spring to go with it but the customer will have to get that on their own. The stock spring will be to soft. My email at the top of this page works.

1fastdude 05-07-2004 04:47 AM

Watch out Ted, I got your number:lol:

YBSLOW 05-07-2004 08:28 AM

tomkelley 05-19-2004 10:59 AM

Dennis,

Thanks for getting me the red shoe this weekend and helping me out during my main at the Midwest Series.

Now that I have the red shoe for my 710, how does this material compare to the serpent yellow ones? Also would you not recommend using the serpent 1/8th spring as oppossed to the mugen one? If your not sure I guess I'll have to be your guinea pig this weekend. I'm going to see about getting a setscrew in the weights too. There's a publication on TSN that shows how to do this.

mckrooz 05-19-2004 11:02 AM

Whens the motor going to be available?

Motorman 05-19-2004 09:05 PM

either spring will do tom its easy to set up, I'll help you. The red shoe has the highest bite of the three.

McKrooz
Soon brother soon. Everything must be right I'm only getting one shot at getting it right and I'm really fussy about that stuff.

Storm did I answer your question?? I always seem to miss some.
