I'm finally starting to run nitro again. Now that I have to run 16% Nitro, what shimming do you recommend for the BRB and AAC sets I got from you. In the states with 30% I ran one alu shim and one copper shim. Should I just remove the copper shim?

the crank are 215 degrees on both engines.

Btw, did I ever tell you about my last race in the US, which was my first race with the AAC engine?

This thing was an absolute monster, but during practice, a huge nail standing out of the asphalt, ripped my crankshaft into two pieces. Remember Cyruls 1/8th scale at Ft.Myers in 2004? It looked just like that.

Are you still making AAC sets? Also, I don't see you engine mentioned lately. Are you still running them or did you stop that project?

Hi Stefan.
Nice to hear that you are back to racing. I hope it will be as good as it was in States.
I will sugest to use 0.3 mm shimming for BRB and 0.2 for AAC.
We don't make AAC anymore, they are good fro pretty cold weather, but BRB is good for any ambient conditions.
We are preparin new engine and we will start testing it on the end of this week. It is absolutly new design, but it is conventional type.

I checked many times and it is working perfect-this is not new calculator-it was just on Russian, so it takes time to translate it, but the formulas is till the same.

Ok, I got an idea why there is difficulty.
1 step is to enter piston diameter (13.8 for example)
2 step is enter stroke (14.04 mm for example)
3 step is enter exhaust height ( 5 mm for example)
4 step is enter difference between exhaust height and transfer height (2 mm for example) Always when engine is designed, designer are interested in difference between exhaust and transfer-this is dictating pipe length. So from exhaust height needs to be subtracted transfer height.
5 step is pressing left bottom button, which says “calculate timings and capacity”

Second possibilities is reverse calculating:
If you know what timing you want to put, just put it and press right bottom button which says calculate exhaust and transfer height if timing known”
Please try this way, I hope it will help.

Not doing anything at all for me. I can type figures in but the calculate button doesnt work.

It works for me, just don't know how to use it yet

I read in some post here that you said that it is important that ports close exactly the same all over the high side of the exhaustport. Novarossi engines have a little V-cut on top of exhaust any idea why?
