If it's done correctly a pinchen piston-sleeve set will usually last longer than a new one.

In my opinion, there is only one guy that does it right and that's OSROCKET.

He did countless sets for me and a lot of people I know and everybody loves it.

That's what he says about it on his EBAY SITE :

"I developed this process approx 7 years ago, and have done resizings for all of these guys that are now doing them with manual presses and pinch rings (don't be misled and get a out of round sleeve), the way we do it has been very effective, magazines have done articles and longevity tests on it and support it greatly, its done on a cnc controlled machine that is very accurate, there is no guessing needed, I can set them medium or light pinch whatever you prefer, just make sure that you mark the parts inside the package when you send them in. Normal turnaround is 2 to 4 days, if you need a rush job email me to give me a heads up, and you can mark the outside of the package with a marker so I can pull it. We have been racing the larger races (150 entries and up) and my son always runs pinched engines and usually always makes the A, and we constantly get guys coming into our trailer asking about his engine and how we get it to run that way, If you need any assistance with disassembly or reassembly deck clearances, one of us will always be available to help out.

What you need to do after you purchase the auction is take your piston/sleeve out and you can leave the rod attached if you want, and send it in and we will resize it and send it back with a nice info sheet on carb settings and breaking back in.

Shipping is 5.00 for priority mail with delivery conformation, packed in a sturdy box so no damage occurs.
Also check out my multiple discounts, and email from www.osrocketracing.com if you have any other questions.
Thanks johnb"

last longer with single pinch?? i dont think so.. what i meant is with every single pinch, the piston sleeve will last about 1 or 2 race only. after that u have to pinch again...

consider this: if u buy a new engine, give the piston/sleeve to me and i will give my pinched psiton/sleeve in return and we'll see whoose will last longer..

Whatever you say Dude.

Check out OSROCKETS feedback or his thread on sgrid.com, 100's of more than satisfied customers might convince you.

Fact is, they last longer after they have been pinched by HIM!

I have no clue how it is when other people pinch sleeves.

You can also check out http://www.rayaracing.com

I have Ray pinch all my off-road .21 sleeves and he is top notch as well. I have never had JB (osrocket) pinch one, but hear good things. I have an OS RG .21 mod engine in my truggy that has 4 Gallons on a pinched sleeve. Still has great pinch and will idle forever.

Now can anyone point me in the right direction for Mugen MR12 engine parts?
I need soem bearings and maybe a complete rebuild as well.

Thanks

Mugen Mr12 = Novarossi RS12S3 = RB x12

All parts of these engines are interchangable.

Thanks, I found the bearing size in an archived thread.

Good info to know on the parts interchange though. Thanks again

I believe you Mie3R, with regular pinching tools, the sleeve maybe only last 1 or 2 race before it needs another pinch again.

I also believe new pinching technique performed by osrocket should last little bit longer. I don't know how he did it, but I suspect he heats the sleeve above 200C, pinch it, and throw it into cold oil.
