Looking for a second .21 engine for 1/8 onroad. Already have a Flash. Which one should I get? What is the Mito 9 ON “C”?

Roelof 04-09-2018 01:22 PM

The Mito on 9C is basically a Flash

25% .21 motors come shimmed for 25% and that's how u should leave it...

It would be best to read the manual that comes with your engine. Some engines are setup for 25% Nitro, where others are setup for 16% or even a range. But if your engine is from a reputable manufacturer, their manual should state what nitromethane and oil contents the engine should be used with.

I

I found a good deal on a nova 21 keep on long stroke ?
are these good engines ??

thanks

And this question you allready had started in a new topic, no need to ask again.

The keep on is an outdatet engine but still good enough. It was one of the 1st extra long stroke top models from Novarossi probably as a follower to the succes of the Picco extra long stroke. But it was not a populair engine with many drivers, on several races drivers did switch back to ther Flash as we see today that the normal long stroke models like the Mito 35wc is their topmodel
But if you are no toplevel driver then you will have a good and fast running engine.

No deffo not a top level driver ! Just want a decent motor to start off, although maybe I should mention I have a xceed 21 and Sirio 21

I was told he swapped from engine supplier.

Pedro Jesus 05-03-2018 03:33 AM

He has also used a Novarossi with this color on his head
He said it was a Novarossi engine

Roelof 05-03-2018 09:50 PM

Yes, was forgetting to correct it yesterday but I had a chance to look at his car and indeed a blank head with the Novarossi logo on it. It looked like it had thicker cooling ribs on top. I'll try to make a photo of it but probably REDRC will have a chassis focus as well.

Hello,

I have a Nova Rossi Flash .21 PT/A. I had to move the intake nipple to fit my application (MRX6). I know this nipple has two tiny hole inside, do those need to be aligned with the high speed needle? Also I noticed I could twist my carb manually, how tight should it be on the engine case?

Pedro Jesus 05-05-2018 01:24 PM

Maybe only evolution on head or new evolution Mito35 WC?? 2019 edition??
