Can a Novarossi Exhaust Gas Cooler get clog also like the pipes and need cleaning ?

I've never had an issue with the exhaust gas cooler. I suppose it could get something blown up through the exhaust but it's unlikely. You'd know if it got blocked because the engine tune would instantly go way off. It's easy to check because it's just a straight pipe which you can see if you hold the cooler up to the light.

No I was just asking about them I see a website has a good sale/deal on them and just wanted to know about them, like I said I have heard both good and bad reviews about them.

But I am looking for new or pre-ran motor for my Shepherd WC V8.

I'll have to look but depending on how much speed you want, the rex 9 .21 is a steal at the moment on novadirect

I seen that too, good deal on novrardirect, was just thinking of getting another PTA tuned Flash from them.

wc35 .21 is a bargain, too. Compared to OS. Parts are also much cheaper.

Anyone run Mito 35 GT5 2017? Looking for some feedback on this engine. Thanks

Yes. I have the 2016 and the 2017 versions. The 2017 has a shade more torque than the 2016 version all things being equal. The only change is the liner which is basically a 7 port liner with two ports either side of the exhaust port being opened up into 2 large square ports making the 5 ports. You can 'update' a 2016 engine just by changing the piston/liner set.

Thanks. And how do they compete against the other GT engines on the market ?

My Mito GT5 2017 and my Ielasi Tuned Novarossi GT5 engines are both quicker than the Picco EMX-GT and GT1 engines which also run at our track. There’s also an XRD-GT engine and that doesn’t even come close. The Picco isn’t far behind but I’ve got the legs on the straight and punch out of corners but this class is really clutch critical.

Thanks for all the feedback. I currently run a novarossi top elite 5. 9886/41032 combo work with this or would you recommend something else?
