Both r tuned and top of the line, no reason to put the non-tuned version to market.
The sport basic engine will be the choice for budget user

Again the question what is tuned if there is no stock version? If there is no stock then the tuned is the stock, it is the only reference.

Indeed the Nova's are good engines but I have some doubts about the bearings and for sure as market leader I think they must do something on the price but I am afraid that will only happen if other brands will outperform Novarossi.

But who knows, the EFRA wants to go back to 5 minutes qualify without refuling. I have seen Nova's running out of fuel at 4 minutes, there have to be made huge different engines.....

Can anyone tell me
1) Should I get the .21 Flash PT or PTS,
2) Break in version or just normal,
3) Which manifold to use, and
4) Would 2015 be a good pipe ?

Thanks in advance !

1) Would you pay 70 bucks more for just a ceramic front bearing which does not add a noticeable thing to the performance?
2) are you willing to pay more for a half broken in engine? (you still need to run some tanks to finish the break-in proces)
3) for most tracks the middel size is good
4) yep

Do not know how it is done today but in the past I have seen pictures of a bench with engines with a proppellor and a tube over the exhaust going through a wall.

Good question; that's something I would also like to know. I don't really like using our car to run engines in, wearing clutches and drive trains etc.. Using a propeller bench fixes that problem, but many experienced drivers think that using the car is better. What is right? Does anyone know?

Kindest regards,
Lars.

How to run in is an endless discussion. People have a feeling about what is right and what is wrong not to mention that a lot will stick to the procedure of their favorite driver. If you want to doe it right you have to know the materialsm and how tight the pinch is, from there you can create steps how to run in.

Propellors do work but the airflow is comming from the wrong side compared when placed in the car, in theory it has an affect on the shape of sleeve and piston.
That is why all kind of run in processes on a bench are sugesting to finnish the running in in the car.

Wear on the car when running in? Keep the clutch low on engage and do not tend to race and the car will have it easy.

Yeah running in is always an interesting subject....

These days i do a 1-1.5lt on the run in bench and then finish in the car but it does vary engine to engine....
