Hi guys.. Any ideas what would cause an engine to keep blowing plugs?
A detonated underhead?? Assuming that the piston and sleeves are ok.. |

Usually that means too much compression. How many shims are under the head button? What engine is it? What glowplugs? What fuel? What pipe?

Guys, if I buy a Kangaroo should I swap out the bearings to ceramics or should I just buy a flash. Not bothered about cost. Also, which pipes/manifold combo is best for either of these if I want it to be as fast as possible. It doesn't have to be legal either.
Regards |

Regards I have seen Kangaroos run in the track, and honestly, the 35+21 smokes them with ease... |

Regards Or get this if you're not bothered about cost, a Murnan Modified C10 engine, here:http://kamikazercracing.com/proddetail.php?prod=MMRBC10 |
I saw an online rc web from hk, the flash special is selling at $ 380.
|
May look into getting a Murnan modified Kangaroo. The track that I use is quite technical so maybe a C10 is a little overkill and I'm not a pro driver. I have heard that the Kangaroo is very good standard so with a little tweek by Murnan it should be pretty awesome.

conrod 7602 vs 7604
are both conrod interchangable? 7602 and 7604...
7602 is on the 2008 353 and 7604 is on current .12 nova engines. |

If you have waited this long, you should wait till next week where Novarossi will probably release a new version of the Flash... Maybe something will be updated, they always do...

Hey guys just a quick question:
With RB having their engines made where Novarossi have their engines made, I examined a Flash .12 3 Tuned and an RB T10 sleeve. They both seemed more or less exactly the same - including port timings - and I know for a fact the T10 P/S and rod can run in the Flash 12. So my question is since the T10 can fit in the Flash 12, can you use the RB rod for it if it's cheaper? Or are their slight differences (apart from the RB rod's bottom area not being as thick as the Flash 12's) that I didnt find? Also, apart from the head button's being different, I noticed the flash 12 sits pretty much 0.3mm deeper than the T10 - no there were no shims in either when I measured them - what's the deal with that? Is that why the Flash 12 runs better around the 120 mark? Sorry for the long post, didn't want to miss any details. |
