Ok. Roughly how much does it cost? what about the Team Magic pipes? Hear anything about it?

Timing data needed

Hi:

I need some timing data from a pair of Nova engines, let's see if someone has them (or at least one of those two) and could make me the favor of degreeing them. Need the timing data of a Nova P5X and the timing of a Plus 21-7 (all two are off-road engines).

Thanks in advance.

I am trying to find a suitable replacement p/s set for my RS12S1X
The novarossi page says the replacement part # is 08604
I found an 08601 and a 08614 .
Will these fit ok? I am thinking that any .12 non-turbo set would be ok, but the porting may be different?? Can anyone confirm this?
The 08614 is from the-border.com, the picture is of a 5 port but the description and part number are for 3p. Their seems to be no way of contacting them through email as their 'contact us' link doesnt work, and I dont want to call them because of long distance. There is also a language barrier, I live in Canada. The site is in the Netherlands.

Hey johnny i think the problem is not the ceramics but the high speed needle orings. Could it be that the needle is richening its self because the orings r damaged?

Thanks.
I already tried changing orings and other
leaks from the fuel line. I still got the same problem. But when I changed
the bearings from ceramic to steel, the tune became consistent.

The bearing (much probably the front) was bad. Have ceramic bearings on many different engines ( .12's, .21... Sirios, Novarossi/JP, Ninja) and all work really well no problems with the tunning at all.

Check that front bearing has the front shield ok, is correctly seated and you do not have airleaks on the engine.

0.3 is original shim ( silver ).

Pick your cards .........

I prefer very safe rather than getting a melting coil situation.,,,,,,,, sucks man !!!

i'm running 20% with 6tf should i add to total 0.5 :confused::sweat:

tks

Regarding the p/s for the practice engine. I would contact fusion motorsports as to what will interchange with that. That part number is not a current part number in the May 2007 novarossi catalog. I bet you will be able to use the 08606 or 08608. The 08606 is for the NS12S3. The 08608 is for the NSR12S3 (microcast). Those two part numbers are still current.

Sal Amato 07-19-2007 11:28 PM

Ok thanks I will give them a call
