Last day I was trying to install Kyosho 2D on my JL but I've found a problem. the clutch nut is not as firm as was the 3D flywheel.. I mean I can move the piston through flywheel normally but when I was tighten I used the flywheel pin holder tool and Hudy tool.. I tighten and with the hudy tool I was moving the crankshaft too
I tried to place a tierap on exhaust port so its stop the piston and I can tighten but it broke and this can damage the piston
I was wondering if this tool here is for lock the piston in this case

There must be something wrong with the Flywheel not matching the collet causing the crankshaft to still move while tightening flywheel nut.

Check the collet. I've had to sand them down as they are too long. When I tried to tighten the clutch nut the fly wheel was still loose. The nut was only hitting the collet and not the fly wheel. It's just some thing to check out.

Just got my red dot today and I am working on installing it in my serpent now.
The spacer that went between the front bearing and collet on my NR is the wrong inner diameter.
Do I find one the right size, or run it without one?

You don't need the spacer between the front bearing and the collet.

Just bought the full kit from Sam at kamikaze. 2607 pipe, engine + manifold gasket. Even though i just bought a new engine last month, at the price your doing these, i couldn't resist.
