Yes that is normal. The oil in the energy fuel is not synthetic. It coats the insides withe the burn oil.

2L down on he prop bench.

Engine feels good and pinch free. New rod and some tanks to get the engine used to the RPMs and we should be very close.

will tear down this week for final inspection before going into car

The second engine is 1L down will finish during the week 👍

Ive been using since last year, the MR03 really wakes up the bottom end of the motor. Comes off the corners a lot stronger. Its the straight header.
I wonder what the experts think of the 2098-MR03 combo

The 2098-MR03 is a great combo but it seems most stil prefer the MR02 header.

The problem might be that most don't know about the MR03 header, as the pipe set comes with the MR02.

From what I've been told it's more of a fuel economy issue with the MR03 otherwise it's fast. I need to order one for myself to test.

Has anyone had a chance to test the TR01 vs the TR02 muffler back to back?

I've got both, and now the MR03 and MR02 headers.
See how I go hopefully have time to try all combos

The MR02 and TR02 combo works well with 2104

This, Nitrodude is right, as the header (MR03-WC) by itself was released around the last worlds, specifically to help smoothen out the transition between 1st and 2nd, while making less power at the lower RPM / Speed ranges.

3DFLYER I used the TR02 with the M03 on our shorter high grip tracks, gave me great low end punch and drive out of the corners, responds well on the low end. Was not my cup of tea on bigger tracks, as it seems to fall flat vs. the 2098 which is the TR01. So I would say for me TR01 was used on big flowing fast tracks, and I used the TR02 on tighter short tracks when I needed low end drive to transition / speed from corner to corner.

Does anyone have experience with replacing the stock OS OEM bearings with ceramic bearings?
Was there a noticeable difference in the motor spooling up?

Thanks
