BTW, I reached 107km/hr using this engine ( with some mod) yesterday at the Kawahara & novarossi Cup practice.
Fastest 1/8 was 117km/hr

Small Mod on the crank to lighten it few gram, exactly like what you have in your Axial.

Only because you provided pictures of the race to Nova Rossi, I don't see that it has anything to do with you running the engine.

I like it a lot in stock form but if you take some weight off at the crankshaft in the right area, then easily one of the fastest engine. Also good on fuel. My Amb timing always 5:20 sec plus if you know what I mean.
At the Novarossi Kawahara race, where we all run 20%, I got 6:05 in A main qualifying pace .. so very happy with it.
