There is an On-Road track in Batavia also. It is called Queen City RC or something like that. It used to be Red Mosquito Raceway.
There is an other RC Track called RockField in the area.
The Ohio RC Factory is about an hour north of Cincy.

Just returning to the topic sorry been a bit but thanks a lot. Exited to see I have a couple options within an hour at least. I'm pretty new to rc generally and soon as it gets a bit nicer out and I can get a bit of practice in ill be joining you guys to likely get my butt kicked for a bit but to eventually compete with you all. So far kinda got hooked and got a great collection (insanely addicting hobby)but haven't had too much time to run em all yet.

The Hobby Shop in Dayton races parking lot races every Saturday. Some classes have jumps and some don't. More information at this link - http://thehobbyshoponline.com/outdoor-track-rules/
Novice and SLASH spec are popular classes. Most of the other classes usually draw at least 3 or 4 cars. It's also free to practice on the track on non-race days.
Best regards,
Brian

Just as I dove head first into this hobby, not 1 but both Cincinnati tracks closed there doors. This was depressing to say the least. I know rc tracks are never going to make you millionaire as a bussiness, as its a hobby we all enjoy. What would have it taken to keep one of these places open so that those of us that are wanting too, and willing to support these places so we can enjjoy ourselves. What kinda investment would it take or have taken to keep one of these places open. I wonder if in Batavia the space has been converted away from what it was since its closed the doors, what would it take to open the doors back up and is it just me or is there enough support to possible open the doors again so we all have a place to enjoy our TOYS
