You don't need this.

I have just recently got myself a new B2102 & fitted a brand new JVD 4 shoe clutch to the engine. There is a 2-3mm gap between flywheel & engine block.

But is tightened fully. I don't have this on any of my other engines & clutches.

Anyone else have this on the engine or JVD clutch?

Thanks,

I have fitted the collet supplied with the clutch - I thought it didn't look right. I will swap it out for a different one.

I just thought I'd through this out there. I'm around 20 tanks on this engine and took it my home track last night which was very dusty and got 12:36 on a tank and the engine was at 196 degrees. Pretty unreal in my opinion as I have never had an engine come close to this mileage. I have a hard trigger finger and I am sure when traction comes up as well as the heat I should be over 13. I'm running it in a tlr 4.0 buggy with a 6.5 restrictor and had tons of power. Engine is very linear and great pull on the bottom. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Notice the B2102 comes with venturi's which are labelled 'II" Anyone know the difference between the originals? Drake mentioned he is running a 7mm venturi in his B1202 youtube video -- wonder if its old style or new?

Hello all,

can someone please confirme that the base settings from Adams Video work? We tested it and the engine revs high in idle and a way to lean.

regards

they work. I would check your tank lines, and be sure your pipe seals are new and not torn.

Also if you are using a different pipeset you will have a different tune.

You also have to take into consideration Adam is in California where there is little humidity. If you are in the mid west or east where there is a lot of humidity the tune will be different.

Also pressure line length plays a big role.

At least 6" to 8" I wouldn't go much over that.
About the length of a dollar bill

I've noticed the internal diameter of fuel tubing can range from 2mm all the way to 4mm. KYO line is 2.4 inner diameter. Dubro nitro line is 2mm. Dubro medium line is 2.38.

Anyone have a preference? I'm thinking the KYO line, which is approx 2.4mm might be the standard? I'm sure the inner diameter of your fuel and pressure lines can make a difference in your tune?
