Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows the factory settings for the Ninja .21 R01A 7 port onroad engine?

High Speed Needle; 4 and 1/2 turns out from fully closed (LIGHTLY seat it LIGHTLY)
Low Speed Needle; 1 1/2 turns out from flush with the face of the "thing you snap your linkage on to"...

Im using the Ninja Mr12 T01A and i got a few questions to ask:

1. How many mm of shim should i put for 16%, 20% & 25%

2. What is the stock carb setting for the high end & low end

Other then the notorious tip breaking off, has anyone got anymore feed back on the Mugen FLS 2632? run time? other motors running them? top end? bottom end? low end? ect ect...

Well it appears that the rumor about the bearings on the ninja being crap are true.My mr21r01a's front bearing started leaking on the 15th tank of fuel.Oh well I wanted to try out ceramics anyways but now I will not be able to run my car at 301 this weekend like I plannedI knew something was wrong when I was having a hard time getting the engine to tune last week and it's racing idle.Funy thing is a replacement ninja front bearing cost 17.99 but a tko ceramic bearing cost 14.99.

Go with the TKO. Best front bearings on the planet.

Just wanted to say that I went with boca bearings.I went with ceramics for the front and rear .I also orderd a new connecting rod, piston pin and piston clips while I was at it.Hopefully boca bearings doesn't take a long time to ship out there orders because I would like to be at 301 next weekend.

Front bearing = MR607C-2RS TH9/C3
Rear bearing = MR25414C TH9/C3

Well I got my motor torn apart today.The motor has about 20 tanks of fuel through it.The connecting rod had no slop around the piston pin and crank pin.I still think the craftmanship of the motor to be very nice.

I've ran 6 gallons on the engine, only thing i changed was the connecting rod and still has good compression/runs strong.

Hi guys I am wannting to know if I can use OS plugs on my GRP tuned motor? And should I replace the rod after breakin, and what do these motors run like?
I have a JP Pro 99, JP RO3, 35 plus and modded C5, will that motor be better than these? Run a very tight track, run MRX4 and Evolvas.......clutch tips would be great.
