The person I know who ran one said they were good motors but lacked the bottom end and rip of a 35plus and went back to the old faithful when the stuff hit the fan. Maybe they need more time with the motos to figure them out and get the to run. They are a good value and would be a great step for the hobby as far as prices go..
We all know, that if you're having a bad day with something new, go back to the old and win the race.

They need more time knowing the powerband and how to make it scream.

Just some info...

And I can assure you that engines were BOX STOCK. In fact, the engine which used the winner of the race were a unit that went out of the carrying bag of a dealer, he broke their engine and needed an inmediate replacement.

Their low-end is considered 'soft', but you really need a low-end grunt that could make your car unstable and twitchy to drive? what you need are a powerful mid-rpms and great high-end.

Broke in the MR21 r01 the other day and sure sounds and looks like it has alot of promise. First club race day today with the motor, will let you guys know what I think this evening. So far the quaility of the unit is awesome. Will post more tonight. I personally think it's better already than my 321P that I've been running for the past 12 months.

First give the engine also 12 Months......

Nice, all these results posted here, but why didn't any Ninja engine make it to the final of the European Championship last weekend?.....
In fact there were not driving many.....
This must also have it's reasons......

Because was 'too new'? And because the people that goes to EC's aren't much prone to rush changes, they have their own engines and know them, those guys goes to races for win and take the least risks.

And the most important, many of those have engine sponsorship deals they have to honor. Other important thing I've seen (and is misleading or at least confusing for the people that doesn't know Lostallo track) everyone had problems with the runtime, is the side effect of such big track with lots of time at full throttle.

I've been following your posts here and other thread and never found anything constructive on them, why to bother post on those threads? go to your preferred threads and have a talk there.

I don't like Snake pit cars nor their Mega line of engines (and yes... had a snake car and a snake engine and got ripped - The car was a Spirit M2 and that thing they called engine was the infamous S-Power 2000/Cipolla crap), but this isn't a valid reason (at least for me...) to go and bash, post answers without anything constructive there.

If you feel fine with snake cars and snake engines, ok.. is your choose, go and post there and leave the others do the same on the thread of their choose.

I can not be more "constructive" then my answers on these engine on the previous page.......

Ok, Your right about the engine being maybe to "new"....

But the results posted by You from the Spanish championship don't tell me that it is a good engine, results made in BIG events do......
and yes I know that those engine are "team" engines, but it is fair to compare the brands......
In the Dutch championship I run in, the Mugen/Ninja combo is also the one to beat, but this is mainly because RickV is holding the steering wheel......
And comparing a Snake car from more then 25 Years ago to what level they are on now is not really fair is it?.....
On what level was Mugen then?.......

I don't like the "hype" which is build around this engine, because I saw 6 of them running, and am not impressed, It's just... average.....
Yes it looks to be a nice engine for the bucks, but reliability still needs to be proven.
Remember the Mega DSII for what it looks is a faster engine, maybe also still with some reliability issues, but less expensive then a Ninja......

Atleast BOTH engine are a lot cheaper then Novarossi engines, and this is a good point.....

Ok, we both have our opinions, and that is what an open forum is for, but regarding the Ninja engines "rangulo" had the same impression....

I already mentioned that I believe that Ninja/Falcon/Boss have the knowledge to come with a really good engine, so if there are problems they are able to fix them right away, but I only try to "temper" the "hype" build around this engine.....

Well, tell me who I should believe.....

And please also tell me why the Mega's where modified according to you, and why the Ninja's where box stock.
Only because they came out of a box?......

This is exactly why we will never come to an agreement about this subject......

we ran 3 of them at the rams club here in nor/cal we ran them with all
the headshims .050 total and minus 1 at .040 i belive it ran beter
minus 1 , we did get some hi temps but as art said we our taking the
temp much closer , we got up to 360 , after the race we took them
apart no damage, good pinch, and not 1 plug blown or distorted
they are not jps , but they do have performance and at 1/2 the price
its a good deal .
