I was just starting to go down the straight when another buggy hit a double wrong hitting my cooling head and cracked my crank case ini kn 2. It was a brand new motor with only 1 race on it.

It is the updated case which is version 2. I doubt it is covered by any warranty as it was caused from a crash. Although I would have never thought a case should rip in two like that.

The strange thing about this crash was that it was not at full speed. I was just 3 to 4 feet onto the straight going maybe going around 15 mph or less. The flying buggy was jumping a double that is not a full speed jump but half speed and he didn't overshoot but just hit it at an angle to land onto the straight. I would think for this to happen both buggies would need to be at full speed or at least the flying 1/8 scale to be a truggy. Either way when it hit you could here everyone go OOOOHHHH! and when I hit the throttle to keep going nothing happened. I couldn't see the damage until after coming down from the stand and was like

Is there a difference between my Taiwanese case and an Italian or Japanese one? Would this happen to a Nova, OS, or Werks?

My O.S. engines use to split all the time
