yes
just pulled it apart again, and hardly has any pinch, only 14 tanks through this engine preheated to 215-220 before every start and already low compression????

so, with it assembled you can turn the crank a full rotation? I dont understand how you are able to tell with the engine apart, unless you're able to push the piston through the sleeve entirely.
Can email me some pics? I need to see the inside of the sleeve and the piston.

Actually, I think I figured out what is wrong. The OS stroke is longer than the GX-5R. when you put the go conrod in your OS, you probably made the rod slightly shorter (crank pin swings wider, so the rod needs to be shorter). You cant eyball this- you need a micrometer to tell for sure. This can be enough not to push the piston all the way to the top, and what youre seeing is a direct result of that.

If you'v got time between each round, do one with 13 and next with 14 and next 13 and so on and so on and check your lap times as what is faster and lower averages, (see wich is better for the obsticles) and fuel usage for each round.
Idealy you want to be set up for 90% of the track, yes that straight is very long but is still only less than 10% of the bigger picture, (short shots and jumps etc) concentrate on being smooth and precise -hugging the inside line along the straight and around the sweeper rather than all out speed and you will be just as fast with the 13 bell as you would if went flat out as normal with a 14 bell...hope I'm making sence.

Hey guys... just a heads up. We are SOLD OUT of GXIIs here in the US. There is a shipment of GXIIs and GX5Rs leaving Taiwan on the 11th. Still have parts, with more coming.
We will also have the flywheel/clutch combos, and most of the new accessories.

I just snagged the last gx11 5rho that fth had, need a pipe for it

It's all good, my first gx11 5r hasn't really "dropped " yet
has around 25 tanks or so.

Full Throttle Hobbies and RCHQ are both getting the last two from this batch. FTH is also getting a 1 or 2 pipes.
Fortunately, I preordered more and they're scheduled to leave next week. Will probably add some more GXII combos on there as well.
