The 086 will make it milder on acceleration right? There are only a couple speed areas on my track. Its mostly tight with several small jumps. I will try both dynamite pipes. Dumb question, will a pipe change affect the tune?

between the 086 and the 053 you tune wont change, if you go from a 053/086 to a jp pipe it will change alittle.

jeauxker, what plugs are you using?
motors only eat plug if somethings wrong inside, your using wrong plug for the motor, or your way too lean.

on the flaming 1/2 tank, its mostly caused by having your tank screwed down too tight on the rubber gromets...it needs to be a bit loose so your fuel doesn't bubble up from the vibration through the chassis... and it also can make your tune lean with air bubbles at 1/2 tank

It looks like it is fairly loose on top in places. On the Ascendancy I would try 2 x carbon with .9 springs and 2 x alloy with 1.0 springs, so whatever that would equate to in Losi spring colours.

+1 on that young fella. His buggy looked pretty dialled as far as clutch and gearing for the jumps and plenty of pick up and top end down the back straight.
hi grizz, he's using a GO GX7 series...

Nope - the EFRA 2072 is a GO pipe. It is the pipe designed for, and recommended for use with, the GX Series and GXII-5RHO motors, but also works a treat on a lot of other motors.

that is a bit of good information. my losi buggy does this from haveing the tank to tight, does'nt effect anything, but i can see where it might cause problems, makes it look like you have a air leak when you really dont.....good tip!!!
