Good to know Grizz. I never tried the 0801 pipe. Speaking of pipes I was able to get out today{got new knee/leg brace} 16:10 out of that mg rex did, running byrons 30% the crank case temp said 270,the head down by glow plug red 227,thats F* I really studied your method on your web site and finally the bulb went off in my head. Was weird trying to wrap my head around the 7 sec pinch for idle screw adj. then adjust low end needle. also have the longlsn in it. Thanks for putting that up on your web site.

It would be safe to say the wide idle gap, rich bottom, lean top scenario is the most commonly found tuning mistake made out there (it's the "average woman tune" so the boys say - wide gap, a fat bottom, and lean on the top end)
is it ok to say that on here ??By setting the idle gap first you pretty much eliminate the possibilty of this occuring, and you end up with a much more athletic physique

Glad to hear your up and about too

Thanks Grizz, that brace was the same price as 4 new 2011 808 kits!!!!!
But,when I had it strapped on I could automatically feel my body shift and my hips and spine line up. All sore as heck up to the top of my skull, but after a week of 4 hours a day with it I should be good to go. Well as good as I'm going to go. All's I can say to the working force out there BE GOOD TO YOUR SPINE/KNEES YOU WILL BE IN PAIN WHEN THEY GO TO POT! Wear your gut belts people.

ah oh.
I am 21 years of age and have a laundry list of injuries. My right knee doesn't fair off that well. Torn Acl I have yet to get fixed and last summer when my femur broke I also broke a peice of my knee cap off. None of that bothers me as much as my ankle does which I shattered back in 07. So a total count of metal in me 23 stainless screws and three steel plates in my left ankle and 3 titanium screws holding a 18" rod inside my right femur.Gosh am I going to hate being old.
good thing I am focusing on RC racing now and gave up motocross.

Yes - you are going to feel it when you hit around 45ish, but you have plenty of years left before that.
I think most active guys are the same when they get older. It all starts catching up with you around 40 - 45 (about the same time the beer gut and love handles automatically appear
).I spent a lot of my younger years playing rugby, then the last 30 odd years playing golf 3+ times a week (up until 18 months ago when I knocked that back considerably). Besides a slightly cranky back from the golf and heavy lifting etc at work, I am most of the time pretty much pain free at 53 years young, which I attribute to having regular chiropractic care over all those years. I think without that regular attention to keeping the spine, hips and pelvis all aligned I would now be in serious trouble.
Lucky RC car racing doesn't involve too much agility (only marshalling and tipping back a brew after the event
).

well another good outing for the GX-II.
ran at the uk national warmups and made the b final, clutch spring broke in the final and the engine cut so lost a lap but was very happy with the engine.
engine ran sweet on 30% and go t4 plug,2072 pipe and pitted at 10:45,pitman said there was about a lap left in the tank ,maybe 2 at most

same pipe. I have it still on my timer. I'll post a pic. I got the tuning that Grizz posted on his web site down. So I am going to attribute most of that to him. I have my epa set at 65%/7mm venturi. Also using ascendancy clutch which really improved the overall feeling of the car.
