Has anyone made a tuning video for The GX engines yet?

Best glow plug for the engines in 10-25 degrees celcius?

Well after cleaning my truck this week I noticed something diffenrent on my GX5R's head.

Must have been when I passed a guy by scrubbing underneath his truck. I made the pass but the Go took all the force. The 5 gallon Go did me good on a muddy/super wet sand track. Wish the driver did better in his B main.

bend it back,I've had a few of those!!! I do it by putting something under neath the cooling fin that will take the force of prying back. That would be on fin #3. Top fin/gap/fin2/gap is what I'm talking about. Also heat the fin with a heating gun before bending or you will just crack it off.

be carefull that bit of dirt inside your 7.5 venturi doesnt end up in the engine ;)

Nice catch Flanno. I saw that right after the pic was taken. A damp Q tip eliminated that pesky peice of dirt.

And Matt I think I am going to leave it. This is my back up mill and I kinda like it. It's like a battle scar. :sneaky:

Amazing.............my 5R head looks just like that, although it got bent in a different scenario. I got a little sideways on the approach to a big jump and had to throttle back a little bit, there was another truck about ten feet behind me. He didn't get sideways, so he had a full throttle approach. I landed short and nailed it.........just in time to get under him as he was landing. :tire::tire::tire:

Moto, Thanks for hooking Joel up with the new mill. He is now a lover. The guys are seeing what is hot at the track. Go's are starting to realy pop up at the track.

well.....i must say.....i wasn't to sure about GO until last weekend when i blew my good ol' GRP  and borrowed a old red-head go 3 port with a nova carb...i matched it with a dynamite 007 pipe and i was impressed!!! never did i figure that a 3 port would pull my truggy around like it did....so i spoke with "Moto" and by the time we were done talking i picked up a new GXR-HO and a 2072 pipe....today was the first day i ran the motor and i'm liking it:sneaky: only got it tuned to about 85% race tune and all i can say is i can't wait till the balls completly drop on this beast!!!!

the only thing i'm not able to figure out....i'm barely able to get 7min out of a tank in my mugen truggy...i know it's still rich, but 7min ....what kind of run time are those of you getting that have one completely broke in???

i use to love the old 3 ports, serious low end grunt!!! my truggy engine is broke in (GXII) i put a 7.5mm restricter in it and getting alittle over 9 minutes, your milage will get better and better as you run it:nod:, you must have a heavy finger like me:D

Coming up on 2 gallons, and with the 2072 and 6.5 restrictor in my 808 buggy I am getting over 9 minutes, and 10 minutes is reachable depending on the track and ambient conditions (I don't have a smooth trigger finger at all :sneaky:).
In truggy with a full race tune, 7mm restrictor and 2072 pipe, 11 minutes should not be a problem.
