Clutch system looks like the goods Flanno Be interesting to hear how you like it. I have been running the JVD 4 shoe off and on for quite a while now and find that pretty good, especially wear wise on the shoes and the bell.

Hey Massive, Santa bought me a new headphone / mic set, so now you will be able to hear me properly on Skype The old one was definitly faulty, so now I will be able to really chew your ear

i like the idea of being able to run it like a losi clutch 2+2 and it has 3 different compound shoes, soft, maedium, hard and 3 different weights of each compound, and spring rates in .5 intervals from .85 up to 1.15mm

Heaps of combo options there.

Geez !! Almost too much choice. If you can't find a good set up with all those options it's time to give it away
Hope you have a good New Years Eve bro. Catch you in 2011

I'd start with 4x reg.med shoes and 4x 1.00 springs. Reg.Hard shoes slips more thus I'd put looser springs on those but knowing the combination of MG66 and truggy I'd start with the above or even 2x1.00 and 2x1.05 with same shoes. I've not mixed the shoe materials as I feel there is no need for it. I'd rather play with springs and weight of the shoes but that's just me keeping things simpler.

Anyway the clutch is excellent. Tunability is beyond what anyone would need and the shoes lasts.

Are the bearings the same size as the GX-5R? I'm going to order bearings for my GX-5R and I'll order another set if they are the same.

FYI the MG66X Will be keeping the original 2 needle carby for the 2011 season. We will however be changing the HSN metering to make it less sensitive and a broader sweep to tune.

Cheers MM

speaking of it[modded hsn] can we still get them? Have you got the massive site and new owner going in the right direction? I will say I am going to miss dealing with you mark. You gave 120% when it came to costumer service. I'm a little worried about ordering through the web site from what I've been hearing. And you were always the first place i went to for anything go related. Even when amain[chico ca.] had it in stock. Did not mind waiting a few extra days I knew I would get the right part and if I was missing anything that you knew I would need it would always be there when package arrived. I would hope that every go mg-66 dealer gets it like you did. Mike does.
