Mine stil in break in mode, what is total shimming after break in for 25% fuel?

VPProUSA 08-12-2014 06:34 AM

1 gold and 1 silver shim. If you need more top end you can add another gold shim.

Guess manufacturer got me the wrong shim. So after break in, use silver+1copper only for 25%

The GO 2103 works pretty well imo, I´m liking it better than the 2072. Have you tried it?

What differences did you find between the 2 pipes, I have the 2072 on a GO engine with alot of bottom end but also good mid & top, I find the 2072 gives a good spread of power right through the rev range but I probably have a little to much down low for my driving.

Well I like to drive smooth and the 2103 gives you more top end and a smoother feel overall, guess it also depends on the engine you are running too. I have not done back to back run time tests yet but looks pretty similar to me. Besides I like the "OS Style" sound of the 2103 better

Thanks for that, I was told a while back on this forum that the 2103 had less bottom & more top end but when I went to purchase one, the online store said it provides more bottom end than the 2072, so I rang the shop & they weren't sure so I got another 2072.
My engine is modified with lightened crank & timing etc all done & is probably better in a truggy not buggy. I was after something that provides slightly less bottom & similar or more mid & top, I was also thinking about the Werks 2058.
