Hi everyone, just letting everyone know.
My first Arrow is into it's 5th gallon and still running great.
Maybe it's gotta do with it's high mechanical pinch perhaps.
Bearings too are working well.
Let's see how many gallons it can go before I need to change it's P/S/R
Thumbs up

Just broke in my new Arrow GTR .21 about a week ago and finally got to take it out to Revelation Raceway in Southern California and once again this motor did not let me down. It idled great for me and came off the track at 210 degrees. Can't wait for JBRL to show everyone how these Arrows run :nod:

Run this bad ass today,
Tune at 95 degree match it with Orion 2058 pipe, got 10 min of run time out of it,using OS P3 plug.
This engine rock!

ok ran this motor for the first time today this motor rocks was running to lighter springs so temps were a little high but this thing still hauled ass had a lot of people come over to look at what i was running and all were impressed with it..

Also i was running it with a hong nor 2080 pipe i believe it's a good combo on this motor....

Hi all,
Ive started to break in my arrow today n ive got to say that the 1st few tanks was really a pain even with the help of a heat gun. The HSN default setting imo is way too rich. But finally managed to run it nicely n even with its rich setting n with the dyn 053 pipe.. Its beginning to rock... Cant wait to get the engine fully run in as ive only reached the half gallon mark. Can anyone help me with the baseline settings of the engine.
Many thanks..

This engine like rpm pipe.

To keep minimum wear of the engine,i use pre-heater.

yeap. this engine have too much mechanical pinch. breakin is painfully and seems endless. but once you get it over. the engine is a monster.

James khoo 03-19-2012 05:22 AM

Just order another engine, after race tune the GTR,it rock!
But it a pain to break in this engine, took me 2 gallons!
The power seem less if match with OS 2060 pipe, but runtime are good,11 min+.
I match it with Orion 2058,it like rocket!runtime 10 min+.:D
