Con rod, wrist pin clips, front and rear bearings, carb retainer, backplate screws, and the entire carb (just switch whole thing, I wouldn't mess with mixing Arrow carb parts with OS ones). That's it.

Crankcase, backplate, crank, piston, sleeve, head button, head gaskets, cooling head, and head bolts are all different.

Got myself a GTR v2 for my JQ.
Looking at the break-in procedure, am I best going with the usual heat-cycle method, or go by what Arrow recommend?

Going to match the engine to a Losi RE11 and a P3 plug. Should be OK I reckon?

heat-cycle is fine. thats what i do to all my motors including my arrow. run p3 plug and alot of us have found about any pipe will work fairly well with the motor. but the re11 would be a good start

You mean a RPM brand pipe, or a high-end RPM style pipe?

All reports have been positive for most of the pipes out there. So far it seems that the 2 best choices for all around power and smoothness is the Nova 9901, and any of the 053 style pipes. Fuel advantage to the 9901

Maybe I should get one ha ha.. I have those two pipes.. Where would his engine rate power-wise, say 1 to 10?

Breaking in another Arrow today, pain is what i got again!Damn this engine is tight!
run-in 8 tanks, open up for checking, every thing in great condition.
It better to change conrod and pin (And main bearing if needed)after break in,those things are stress big time during break in.

Ull be just fine. I did the heat cycle method and it worked out great after breakin. I took it to Revelation Raceway and got 9+ min coming off at 210 degrees. Also matched with the RE11. Had all the bottom and top end I wanted. Also ran Byrons 30%/11.
