You don't have issues until your back up engines have a back up engine.

Finished my first race with my RW modded R8. Engine is really awesome, the best I have owned so far. It is smooth and powerful from bottom to top end, very smooth coming out of corners yet punchy to clear the big jumps. I am very satisfied with the runtime as well- I got 8 minutes on a very fast track. Impressive considering it barely has a gallon burnt through it, so it will get even better :)

Mnrc Rd. 2 was last weekend. Kendall Welch took the win with his R8 powered Tlr 3.0.

I shot a couple video's after the races were done.

Kendall running his modified R8.

Kendall running my car with the new R83 3port, I ran it stock at the first race. For this race I opened up the crank timing and put a modified backplate on it. Neither engine has any dremel work done to it.

Congrats to Kendall on a job well done. Both engines sound on point, Rex. Love my modified R8 and really looking forward to trying out the R83.

Great weekend with my Argus engines. Ran this past weekend at the Jconcepts nitro race in Omaha. I ran the A5 with 0801 pipe in my Hotbodies buggy. Was able to qualify 2nd in Sportsman buggy. The engine was great all weekend. Also saw some other Argus engines doing well. Several of the new 3 ports were fast this weekend. The R8 was popular as well in buggies and truggy. Great weekend at the very fast indoor offroad track in Omaha. Thanks Rex fora great engine!

Finally home after competing at the JConcepts race held at the Hobbyplex in Omaha. I competed in expert nitro buggy and truggy. I used a stock R83 in my MBX7R and a RW Mods R8 in my MBX7T. In expert buggy I took a gamble for the 20 minute B mains by doing 10 minute pits, the fresh stock R83 was getting 10:30 to dry so I had a narrow window. During the main I thought my pit man called me in and came in early, at 9:45. I ran out on the last lap of the race with 10:30 on the tank pushing a hard race pace and lost the third spot.

In truggy I used the awesome power of the R8 to qualify 7th in the 45minute Truggy A final. With the engine making amazing runtime all weekend I decided to pull off a 3 stop pace of 11:20 for pits. The engine had no issues with the long stops and made amazing power bringing me home a 6th place by the sound of the buzzer.

Thanks Rex for all the support, I am very happy to be representing the argus brand.

11:20 stops? That is impressive. I hope you can't do that on all the MNRC tracks. :)

Haha thanks, I tend to get very good mileage at the Hobbyplex, normally about 30 seconds or up to a minute more then typical back home tracks.

I had a great weekend took 5th in the amain today first race of my season. Had some mistake but also somehow lost my steering servo. The r8 ran sweet after fixing my gasket I think I forgot to tightened the muffle hanger pipe. Sat out the 3rd quail to fix. Then get ready to fire up for the a main run some laps than bang the 2273 took a dump on me. Ran and swapped it out really quick for an old analog I had as a backup. Started in last place made it to 6th tried to get some long runtime with a smooth finger ran out of gas on the back stretched filled up really quick with the help of my pit lady and somehow still manged to pull fifth place. Still can not figure out how but I was moving up against some of the fastest driver I played with so far. All in it was a great day of racing for me.
