You will love the B5 in your truggy mate, just listen to Neals advice with set ups and be ready for some silly power and great run times!!! Oh yeah and the exhaust note the clocked B5 with 2013 gets is AWSOME, it sounds like a very angry motor!

Thanks for the congrats John, i will pass it on to the boss!

Did you get the email i sent you mate?

So i got out to the track today to do some back to backs with the B5 and the B6 to get some run times and feel on the track with the 2057. I started with the B6, and as i have said in the past, very smooth, ripping top, and very stable and predictable, i got around 11 mins to a tank so very happy with that! Then i switched out to the B5 2057 and man i still love the power of this little monster, puts a smile on my face every time! I would say the B5 is a bit smoother with the2057 compared to the 2013 but still has some stupid power and the top is very impressive. The first run i got 10:30 but was a little of tune so went to tune it in but broke a shock so stopped my testing.

They are both great motors and it all comes down to your driving style and preference! I love them both and could not pick a better motor of the 2,, if you are thinking of giving a clocked mill a shot you will be happy, all Neals motors are the real deal!!

So we took the OS 25 out for a little spin...due tot he lack of traction with traditional race tires we installed a couple sets of basher tires just to see what it would do

That's some wild power. It would take all of 5 min for it to destroy a set of holeshots, lol. I'm curious to see how much better the mileage is on the modded one.

That poor truggy it's taking a beating from the monster .25. Neal do you use special space glut to keep the tires from blowing off?

Thanks Guys !

The modified Os25 is a very nice engine..it has tons of power and RPM but isn't peaky at all...The powerband tho very strong, is very predictable and linear..It seems to have the same pulling power right from idle all the way to redline..which IMO will allow it to be used in racing conditions...Many of the big power engines I have run tend to feel peaky, which tho impressive can make them difficult to drive, as that big surge of power could catch you off guard and get you into trouble... This OS 25 is not like that at all, its power comes on right off idle and pulls super steady to redline with no peaks or surges whatsoever...Which in the end makes it a very nice engine to drive..Also notable is the engine has great throttle modulation that allows you to apply the engines power in a very predictable manner.....IMO a very nice alternative to running a .28 for those who find a .21 is not enough...

Hey Neal,

Do you think this a 4-shoe only setup? How's the clutch wear?

I've got the 4-shoe Werks setup if I can make it work on my mugen.

yes the clutch was slipping some...with the 14th bell and the heavy grippy tires the clutch had some slip right off the line...We should have installed a 13th bell with those tires on that surface....
