Here's a better pic of the plug. Again, one swipe with a dry q-tip removed the slight dark spot. It was more light brown than black, it just showed up that way in the picture.

The was a very light coating of oil when I pulled it. The button, piston and other internals also had a light coating of oil. It was clear and hard to see at first and I though the engine was dry. Way different than the Byron's 30/9 that I was running that left a bunch of oil all over everything. The top of the piston had some caramel colored residue on it that wiped off easily with a isopropyl dampened rag.
That plug has 1:15 or so on it, one race day.

Big thank you Neal!!! Got my engines back last week and first thing I did was order the case caps so that hopefully won't happen again. Going to break in the 28 this weekend, can't remember if you said I was good to go on the P5 or if I needed to be real nice to that one?
