as Much as i would have loved to run 10's,.......Without a competent pitman to know when your pushing a little too far i decided to stay on 8's.... keep out of the pits for that mad rush at 7.5

your lucky dano to have tim and the boys take care of you for pitting. That's one thing I hate about traveling alone.
Yes the Slettens have been a huge help to me this year. I couldn't ask for anything more from them. Really looking forward to R1 next year.

Congrats on the TQ & Win Josh !

We are trying to get a budget built in, as its time we start shipping Neal down South to visit some races.

Neal is short, so he should fit on the last sleeping area in the RV unless he is going to snuggle with Nick on the fold down sofa..

Once you get these engines broken in and on tune, you rarely touch a needle, just a tic here and there with the big temp and humidity changes.

Tim is one of the few in the series that most will allow to turn a needle on there engine.

Well, after a 3 month break, I raced at our local championship race this weekend. Equiped with my CRE P5 in my MP9 and my CRE Bonito in my STRR EVO.
after 3 rounds of quals, ended up in the #2 spot on the grid in buggy and ended TQ for truggy. Was happy being I didnt run in months.
Today we had the mains and it was totally a different day...
Amain buggy...finished 2nd overall but only to my buddy Buggymaster who runs a CRE P5 too. Dang, he was on fire today.....still happy with my 2nd place though.
A main truggy,
broke away with the lead and stayed there for about 3/4 of the race.
Well, my 3 month long break paid the price as my buddy Zen was coming up fast as I made some mistakes. Came in to pit and crashed at the pit lane then had a flamer.....SIGH
pit man got me back up and running and battled my way back up to 3rd where I finished.
Had some bad luck with my E buggy too and finished 4th overall.
Overall, really disapointed with my truggy and e buggy finish but did fairly well considering.....
Anyway, thanks Neal and John for some awesome engines....man those engines are animals!
Was LOCKED, CLOCKED and my mills ROCKED!
Big Jay, sorry about your bad weekend buddy. Your buggy was on fire but as bad luck always strikes, didnt turn out the way you planned.
Buggymaster....YOU DA MAN!
Zen......You stole my THUNDA!!! LOL You was awesome bro!

We had our annual champs race as Nesh pointed out more then a few CRE mills running all performed awesome no one had issues as far as tuning.

I was running a CRE P5 with a 2058 and M2C clutch. I was sprung with .95's and 1.0's and it was spot on. Awesome power was catching people on the straight thats were these motor out perform.

I was 3rd below Nesh on the line up after three rounds of qualifing on Saturday it was very competitive. On Sunday my tune was spot on no adjusting needed from Sat added a new plug and filter.

Amain started on Sunday on the 1st turn I was back sided by the time I got back into the race the field was bye bye

Long story short, I ended 4th after fighting back up the line up it was a blast. Two days of racing with awesome people but bad luck was on my side thats how it rolls theirs always next year but the the most important element is FUN which I had.

Nesh was on FIRE as Buggy Master: TWO CRE driver took 1st and 2nd in AMAIN buggy: two in AMAIN Truggy 1st and 3rd. CRE Mills were spot on Thanks Neil and Jon for your support.

lol "bad luck", at least you raced. Wasn't able to race the last race of the season yesterday because my rear diff gear stripped before qualifying. My Bonito has not raced yet, now has to wait till next season

I Also Discovered a Not so pretty rear R+P upon rebuilding for the Last race of the year.....Scratched my head for a little bit and decided to run it anyways. Chipped tooth or Not the Rear end pulled through with Flying colors. Unfortunately the Rear Axle said "FU" Im done and that was that. At least I made the A and had some fun in the process.

Neal,
Thanks for Building me a Clocked Bonito for my Dirt oval late model car, as it is WICKED fast and super smooth. It ran better laps and lap times than my Clocked .28 on Foam Tires. Not only did I run it for Oval, but I also put it in my Truggy and it was still WICKED fast but very smooth to drive along with allowing me to pit at 10 minutes. Thanks again for a GREAT product along with KILLER Customer Service, as I can't wait for next Season to start.
Thanks,
Brent Bones
