Not really worried about it. It was about to need a major overhaul anyway. I think she had just enough to finish the year, but I guess I was a couple weekends off. The case is beat up bad, broke the piston skirt and scrared the sleeve pretty bad. I thing the only reusable part is the head and possibly the crank.I am deploying soon, so racing next year will be non existant for me. But when I get back, its on like donkey kong. I'll still post some picks. Its quite an amazing sight.

So she gave you a good life did she ? And believe me, its no issue getting your engine running again... I have vast collection of clean/used parts for these engines..Whatever it needs is no issue !!!!.

Great weekend of racing at Round 2 of the Trifecta Series at HCRCR. Thanks Neil for all the great support and engine work. Again, i got a chance to test out the CRE Proto 7 in the truggy, running the 9901SS pipe and a squared off OFNA header. I ran the CRE Plus-4T with the 9886 and 41029 combination. Both engines ran smooth and powerful, and still supplied a great amount of fuel mileage. Qualified 2nd in Pro Truggy and Buggy with the CRE engines, and was able to pull out 10 minute pit stops in the A-Mains with both of Neil's engines. They both ran amazing in the mains, pushing me to a 2nd overall in Pro Truggy and a 3rd overall in Pro Buggy. Thanks Neil and the whole CRE crew for the quality work that they do, and the great support that comes along with it. It was a great weekend of racing, and looking forward to running more of the CRE engines.

Also, Congratulations to CRE driver Telly Young on his finishes at the Trifecta Series. Telly bumped from the B-Main in sportsman buggy, and worked his all the way up to the 4th position in the A-Main, where he would finish. In truggy, Telly would have a strong run, finishing 5th overall. Telly is running a CRE Bonito in his truggy and a CRE P5 in his buggy. His engines ran strong all weekend, and overall it was a good showing for Neil and everyone at CRE.

Bonito is still running it a little rich and no full throttle for more than 1 second, leaned the HSN about 1/8th of a turn and wow! This engine reminds me of them e truggies! I hit the gas on the straightaway after leaning it 1/8 on the HSN and the thing took off screaming down the straightaway! I've never seen an engine take off as fast as this, and the top end is ridiculous, absolutely crazy! Felt like it was faster or as fast as an e truggy! And 12 minute run times at 217 degrees!

Bonito was a MONSTER on LCRC's big track yesterday. Had to lean it alot all day as the newly pinched sleeve broke in. 3rd qual and main i saw it run like never before since i had a bad chamber on it when new. Ok so the Fire 11 just fell down a spot on the food chain, lol. Unfortunately radio problems kept me out of the mix.

I am happy to hear that...And now you see why we consider the Bonito to be King Kong of the .21's.......... Amazing engines with the broadest smoothest powerband of them all..Massive low end grunt and a awe inspiring top end all rolled up into one easy to tune reliable package........... Hands down The Best truggy engines on the market period......

We have 15 gallons plus on our original Bonito and it only shows 0.001" wear on the crankpin.....Just awesome when you consider the RPM we run these Bonito's at....This summer we tested some other brands and seen the crankpins burn down to nothing in 3 gallons or less when trying to match the RPM of the mod Nova''s.........
