Jay, read what Rex(22racer)wrote a few posts above. I think he nailed it with the length of threads on the non OS plugs. That's why OS plugs work on other engines and other plugs don't work in OS buttons. It makes good sense.

Tried a P4 Plug:
Perfect, fit perfect, went in smooth with no abnormal resistance. The second the engine fired, I could tell it idled stronger and when I got it on the track, I had better all around performance, especially torque. Anyone with a clocked P5, try an OS P4 plug, you will be amazed! |

I you had a choice for reliability and ease of tuning would it be th clocked B5 or the clocked P5? I'm in a dilemma of picking novarossi or werks (never really looked into)

I'm seeing a lot of people having flameout issues with the P5. Is this flameout/plug issue only for P5 engines, or are other Nova engines effected? Thanks
Now for some people tuning around a hotter glowplug is easier.......the hotter plug idles better and has a broader tuning window.... |

For my first nitro ever, it has been a truly enjoyable experience. |

Hambone's Clocked OS .25
Hello, my name is Jared Dockery and I just got back from a club race here at XRC Raceway in Quarryville, PA. I ran the nitro buggy class with a Mugen MBX6R with a Alpha F850 engine and TQ'ED and won first in a 20 min main. Hambone was feeling gracious and let me run his clocked OS .25 in the main for the truggy class. I started 3rd in the main and the truck was a Losi 2.0. Not knowing anything about the truck setup or engine, I powered to first place in a half lap and never looked back. The engine was super powerful and had all the throttle response you could need. Nice job clockworks on the engine mods, wish I could afford one of these.

For some reason you would think the bigger size engines would be a hard handle but their very smooth - Neils magic. I was waiting for the proto but I had to spend money so I bought his Nova Roma. Its a very strong engine bottom to top its simply awesome. I'm using a Ofna 086 but I'm trying other pipes for max miles so far I'm hitting 8mins but its still not at a race tune. Your not pegging the trigger cause you know you have all the power it makes you conscious making for a very smooth ride.
