John and Neal,
I got the engine yesterday. Thanks for getting it out to us so quickly. We are really looking forward to running it this weekend at the $10K Mega bucks race at The Pit in SC.

I bought the 41021 NR manifold with the NR9886 pipe for my CRE P5 in my sons MBX6. But, the manifold was a little to big to fit inside the mud guard. I ended up putting my Mugen header on the NR9886 pipe. seemed to fit just right. They should be compatable right?

I ran the engine yesterday for a couple tanks. It ran great and it was one of the easiest engines I have ever tuned. Looking forward to getting it on the track this weekend.

Yea, the Mugen buggy needs header 41029 which is just a touch more narrow. You should be fine with the mugen header. We'll get the 41021 swapped out on your next shipment.

Heh, assuming I'm going to put a P5 into an RC8.2 with the 9886, which header would I need for that?

From everything I've been reading, the p5 would be a good all-around motor for a buggy....just can't find anything about headers....

Just waiting on a phone call from Nick telling me that there is something better than the P5.... he mentioned something about buggies being a "unique story"....

Any smooth header really, but the 021 is a good match to the 9886.
Throw a tickedy-boo Nick's way for me and he will dance a jig :lol::lol:

So ive made some cre nova believers out of a bunch of os speed guys out here. The look of jealousy is very pleasing to me lol.

Oh, now that is tempting.... Might say something about tickety-boo in the middle of the next driver's meeting he's trying to hold. ;)
