I put about a gallon of fuel in my bonito not even close to dropping its nuts but its starting to show some incredible rip whats surprising is your able to control the power very easily very weird you would think with a powerful motor it would be hard to drive its actually opposite of cource clutch is key but man this CRE bonito is the real deal for sure super happy. Also I'm running the re12 run time seems good with good power nice and smooth should be a good pipe still early thou

Git on him Jay! Lol. I'm getting a burrito next month, can't wait. Maybe a P5 also. Or maybe another B5......

James if you have the Clocked Plus 4 you should run that in buggy. Best buggy engine Neal does.
I'll be OK with the P5. I've become a pro at taming Neal's engines for buggy. I love having the torque to clear buildings if I need it. |
Just joined the "Clocked" club a couple days ago. I bought a Clocked B5 from a club member at the Edmonton club. Curse this cold weather that's just come on. Spring can't come soon enough to fire this bad boy up!

will iguess i have a question for clocked work now or some one whon know the ansew. I was looking on your site and there is a page on the about head shim and how to get proper clearnce.i understand the math part but the reason im righting now is why do you need it to make sure you piston not hitting the glow plug or cause you run a different percantage of fuel? cause latly i been seeing post about head shims and fuel from going to 20 to 30 if you need to shim up or down but know seem to ansew these guys at all. And how do you end up with a pitted head ? i hve not seen one yet and i been in this 3 years mostly basher but know racing for a full seasion i hope since i started racing last year the last two month and i did pretty good with it too so bashing gone for me i want to know my engines stuff for racing i kinda like the os 25 but hard to see the chart on what you did for it.

idea head clearance varies from engine to engine...most manufactures will set the head clearance on the large side for safety reason.....when dialing in a engine it is good to know the head clearance for reference..... pitting comes from running too lean........

ok thanks so you would say if the motor i have came with a 2 mill and 1 mill shim i can use the one mill and not worry about pitting unless it was to lean as long as i had glow plug clearenace corret. So early cumbustion does not pit the motor which is what i read on another. and if i wanted a later one i can go too a two mill shim which would be better for fuel cause im still tying to find a race motor for my d8t i have a 427 and a mach2 .28 which are good but if they dont hack my large track i think of the b5 or os .25 but the price is high for os but i would like that power since it what im used too from my maxx.

ran another club race tonight with my clocked 21-4 BTT. Still awesome useable power, make great power smooth but pulls hard through the whole power band. I qualified 2nd in buggy and finished 4th. long 20min main. so far mileage is about 8-8.5 is when i came in. I only have a 1.5 gals through it so far. Super happy with it!!!

Neal, how is your Clocked B2? was considering this as my next mill. Coming from owning your Clocked B5 Pro and Clocked Argus, wanted to try another one of your motors but more on the lower price range. Do you drill and fill the crank? What other mods are done to it? I know the stock B2 is supposed to be a stump puller so does the Clocked one have the same bottom with a little more on the top?

Forgot to ask,
Would you be able to do your magic on the Nvision 521R? it has the unusual CRF crank in it. If not, I want to send you a basic 521 without the CRF to get Clocked. |
