I would like to give a big thanks to Neal and John for hooking me up with a Clocked Nova plus 21-BTTA. They took pity on me after seeing my new motor's crank case ripped in two by a bad crash and have been very helpful. Neal took the time to answer all of my questions and set me up with a great motor.:D

I hope to have in broke in before the CRCRC Nitro Midwest Championships and of course the Psycho Nitro Blast.

I hear you John. Had to go about a month while deployed and I almost killed a couple people. It was bad.

Neal,
How are you guys doing on the Werks B2 motor. Looking to put one in my sons buggy. He is still heavy on the throttle but he is getting better. I need something kind of tame that has a good bottom and mid range but will be strong enough for me when I run it.

we are a little slow on the B2...but we do have a tester out running right now that is doing quite good.....i ended up running out of good weather and didn't get the time to finish the testing on the B2......But so far we have the engine doing quite good.....

whats the mileage on the bonito compared to the b5? engine life?

engine life all is determined by the user...so hard one to answer..

B5 is a real screamer and amazing on fuel... the bonito has more torque but a little less rev happy and not quite as good on fuel...But keep in mind both these engines are well above the norm when it comes to performance and fuel mileage... not many tracks big enough to top out either of these mills and both can go 10 minutes with ease...Bonito is a ultra long stroke, B5 is a short stroke....Bonito is a fancier engine of course, but it costs almost twice as much....

How much do those 100 minute engines sell for?

So, if you were going to compair it to a Clocked B5, how would you compair it.
Mainly concered about usable bottom and mid-range, but would like to know top rpm ( If its a little lower like 38k, I would add a tooth to the clutch) and fuel milage, 10 minute in a truck? 12 minutes?

Clocked B5 is much faster pretty much across the board...the B2 is stout, but the mod B5's can be pretty ridiculous...by the numbers a B5 is tough to beat

I konw the B5 is a beast. Thats why I love running it in my truck. I just dont want to put a B5 or B6 in my boys buggy. He is still a little trigger happy and hasnt got down the whole throttle control thing down yet. So I figure, what better than a B2. But also, If I ever drive it, how will it work for me. Will I be able to push it and will it be able to be pushed hard. I saw Kortz's video on the Werks thread and it looks like it can be pretty usable on short to medium tracks.
