I have a blast with that big dumb animal. B5/2013 or 2083 is one heluva combo. Now it's time to play with the 25XZ.

Thanks guys!I had to work very hard for that third place.as we were doing the linup to the 30 minutes main I noticed that my servo was not centering all the time,no time to investigate, after the main I found out that one of the screws for the Ackerman link was backing out,it made a 1/8 of an inch groove in the top cover.Kudos to Hitec high voltage.Off the pace in buggy, finished 4th overall.as for the t-shirt,yes it is way too small,it was just to show me their work,I still put it on for Neil and John. He,I am no ballerina!Neal will post a picture of round one where I got tq an a third. The final t-shirts will be black with full colors logos,my name on the back and on the sleeves with my number. Cost is $30.

A bit more hardware for Clockwork Engines and Clocked Werks Fuel., TQ and third place. I had a flip just outside the countin loop and i do believe i missed that lap. I took an early lead and my pit-man was adamant that i did not get passed, i tought so also as i was the only one pitting at 10 minutes, the second place was pitting at 6 minutes, our track is hard on fuel, the lap times show one verry long lap, i did about 3 mistakes in 30 minutes but it was decided to leave as the computer said. Sometimes the roles are reversed i just accept that. Nedless to say,it was a great main event and we had a ball! :D

Backplate modding

Hey Neal,

I just saw the modded backplate EB did with the new OS engines (in the OS thread). Have you tried anything like this on the Werks engines?

Second race tomorrow with the B5 Pro! I also installed my new higher compression head button.

I ran it around the baseball diamond today for a few tanks, and it seems to have a little more power. I'm still battling the two stage idle, but honestly it still runs well that way.

I have a question. When the idle kind of rises and falls, whats that usually mean?

Will do Neal-

ran it today at the track practice and a qualifier. Got TQ for that round, and then the clouds decided to take a major dump on us and my gear got soaked. All is ok though.

So today was a charity event race and we had a really crappy turn out, only 20 people...So, it was dicided that buggy's and truggy's would run together..The first qualifier I take 3rd, the 2nd qualifier I take 1st and started out the A-Main in 1st.. I crash right away putting me back to last:flaming: but I do manage to work my way back up into the front battling it out for 1st..I take 1st briefly then flame out...I get restarted then my rear diff takes a dump leaving me with front wheel drive only for the last two laps..I end up in 4th! Very interesting day!

I thought id share a little vid..It starts off with a couple of practice laps right before the A-Main starts, the it goes to the actual race! Im the blue w/orange truggy starting out in 1st...
