Its a type of silicone... I guess I need to change the wording...lol.. I just got used to that term "epoxy" from years ago. Thats what engine manufactures's were calling it when they first started filling cranks. Years ago.

proper terminology is of utmost importance

how you wash the cranks is more important (to an extent) than the actual silicone but the right stuff is 30-40$ for 2 oz. of the stuff

Yes the stuff is not cheap. And Yes The cleaning is important but also If you dont use the right silicone it will not last. I personally have engines as well as fellow racers and customers of ours that have engines we filled 2 years ago and they are still perfect. With no signs of deterioration or swelling. Even the thin front edge is not loose like most you will see after time. Our filled cranks hold up very well

Yea, it would sure be nice to be close to the NItro PIt!!! I may have to take a weekend trip out there just to club race and gett he JAZ tour!!!!
