Thanks Flanno: Ran3 tanks through the zilla first up, 2 with MRI oil and heat cycle, running 25% NEO +,( great fuel) third tank was a little more aggressive with short 1/2 to 3/4 throttle for about 3 seconds Seems to be coming along very nicely. Will give it 3 more tanks with 1/2 to full throttle bursts and then a mild track session with increasing full throttle. Now I know how Luke Skywalker felt with a light sabaer in his hand. What a weapon!! Thanks again for the input from yourself a Magpie-121,greatly appreciated. will keep you updated with track performance.

Howdy Race Enthusiasts !

We are pleased to announce the new GodZilla .21 Range specifically designed for Off road racing.

We are releasing several types of this engine and they are made to order and hand prepped.

What we have wanted to do with this range is offer something that nobody does. Cusomised engines ! Based on our research and products avail to us we can now match and change internal parts of a basic platform to create a little MONSTER ! Of course customising your ride is part of the romance of racing yet when it comes to engines there is not much choice .. that is a shame but luckily thats going to change....

The Godzilla .21 Range now has a choice of 3 rods. The standard Go rod , the new Zilla Custom R1 shot peened rod & ligntened, we have tested this rod extensively in both on road and off road applications and its a real nice up grade with awesome durability and reliability. This rod is .03 of a gram lighter than the Go rod. And we now offer the R7 Max Power rod which is another .03 of a gram lighter than the Zilla Custom R1 rod, this one is really nice

The lighter rods make for a snappier response and a different recipricated inertia between crank and rod/piston combo. That means a slightly different power band.

Every Zilla has a Lightened and ramped crank which takes 11.5 grams weight out of it ! . It is custom balanced and hand modified depending on the rod you choose.

On top of this there is a ceramic version obviously with ceramic bearings installed.

in future we will be offering the engine with a few different carb choices. We are testing some manufacturers and seeing which ones suit the best and will offer it once we are happy with the results We will be offering the engine " without " a carb so if you have one thats recommended in your stable you can use it or we can fit and tune it for you at no extra cost. We are doing this for ease of operation, we realise that people are used to how OS or Nova based carbs tune and would like to stay with that platform but try something new, so for that we have experiemnted and continue to do so with carb choices that will be really nice upgrades to the engine. Standard Zilla engine comes with the MG or GX II Carb pre flow meter tuned .

We also offer a pre run service so the engine is prepped and ready for racing.

We have tested the engine on several pipes, fuels and head clearances and tested several plugs so we are collecting data to help people with set ups and recommendations based on track testing. Thats right we will be testing the engine with Nitro X and AT Racing fuels so we can offer set ups for those who run those fuels ! No more walls boys ! just Pure racing ; )

What we are trying to achieve with this engine is bring a platform that is reliable, efficient and affordable, lets face it , its not getting any cheaper out there to live ... there needs to be an affordable racing platform with a good back up base of info to reduce frustration. with some really useful set up tips to get the most out of the engine.

The new Godzilla Team Spec .21 is now avail in limited numbers through MassiveMods, Model Motor Sports International and RC Hobbies. POA , Please mention "if you are" a LRRCC member and get 10 % off retail.

Engine types are.

Zilla 21 Standard
Zilla 21 R1 With upgrade rod
Zilla 21 R7 With R7 Rod
Zilla 21 R1 C With Zilla R1 rod and Ceramic Bearings
Zilla 21 R7 C With R7 Rod and Ceramic Bearings

Obviously as you go up the scale , the better the engine performs.

If you have any questions please dont hesitate !

LMFAO !!

Thanks for that Teddy , we have been really happy with the response of the engine. and now it seems we are getting ready for the x mas rush. Good news is we have a new batch of Rods and Cranks in so we can make more engines ! phew .. i was sold out for a few days there ..

We are also about to launch the Zilla Marine 21 In Board with the Zilla Green head. The Prototype was tested without the new crank in a V hull and got 115 kph on its first run.. so we hope the new one will make about 125 kph out of the box !

Best bet to order one is give us a call on 02 9564 0822 or email me

zillamod at y7mail dot com , just put the word Zilla in the heading so i can spring into action.

We have several distributors in EU who love this engine already. we will release the detaisl as we go along. We are selling at the moment directly to the USA and other parts of the world so just enquire on the email for more info.

Cheers

2011 Truggy National Titles (Melbourne)

Friday
Timed Practice 1; Best 41.8 Av 42.3
Timed Practice 2; backwards 46s
Qualifier 1; 41.6 b 45.0 Av ranked 15th
Qualifier 2; 42.2 b 44.0 Av 14 lap 10.17 ranked 15th

Just got back to Will's, Pulling truggy down for a checkup before tomorows fun, looks like an all nighter, every bearing needs replacing, including the diff bearings, may as well do everything since have to pull most of it apart anyway to do the bearings :/

Am happy with todays driving though, am on par with who I should be keeping up with, need to get faster though tomorrow.

Saturday
Qualifier 3; 40.5 b 42.8 av and missed a 15 lap by 0.13 from going off track while yieldind for fast traffic, but over all happy with the drive.
Qualifier 4; 40.6 b 42.5 Av 15 lapper ranked 11th after 4 rounds.
Qualifier 5; 41.0 b 43.1 Av ranked 13th after 5 rounds, One too many races on one set of tires should have put other set on.
Qualifier 6; 41.1 b 43.2 Av 5sec off a 15 lapper, ranked 14th so straight into the semies

copied and pasted from the MM FB page-
OK, 6 rounds of quallifying completed, am ranked 14th so means an automatic spot in the Semies, actualy hit a 15 lapper today and 2 rounds were very close to it too.

GODZILLA .21 R1 is running like a dream, (♥ the sound it makes)

Doing 10min quallifyers with enouph fuel left to possibly run for 12min, but thats just a guess based on the photo below.
Sits and idles after for ages untill decide to shut it down.

Running on 25%NEO+ with a GO 2072 pipe, I''m also finding it likes a Med to Cold plug, am running Cold O'Donnell T99''s and the engine is loving it.

I tune by smoke and power, but out of curiosity and for this report I temped the engine at 119C in Quallifyer 4 after a 15 lap run, it''s not dropping off power near the end so I assume it likes running there in this climate.

Semies and hopefully the A main tomorow, so wish me luck, at least I''m confident my gear will get me through, it''s all up to me to steer it home.

I''v already achieved my goal of making the Semies so anything now is a bonus, just going to enjoy the experience tomorrow.

Sunday
Semies; Started from grid 7 and finished 7th, was now a waiting game to see if time was faster than the other Semi.
Then good news, I'd just scraped in to the Main final by about 15 - 17 seconds faster than the 6th place driver from the other semi. Woo Hoo starting from grid 12.

Was already stoked to make the Semies after quallifying 14th, achieved my goal for the event, but then just scraped into the MAIN by 17seconds, starting from grid 12.
Even if finished in 12th would have been awesome for a '"National Titles'" event, but to actualy finish in 7th feels awesome !!

GODZILLA .21 R1 makes Truggy Aussie Titles top 10

More Photo''s to come as come to hand.

Thank''s Massive Mark MG66 and GODZILLA (and all my other sponsors and products mentioned bellow in my signature) for all your support for 2011 and hope to do your products proud again in 2012 and beyond.
