safe to say that the reason for you closing doors is that you were not reaching sufficient sale numbers... to even out investment costs or?
Yes, unfortunately not enough sales to even out the costs of producing these engines...

well i hope you do well in future ventures and that you can work somthing new out that will be quality as well as not as costly, i did see that your engine has been sold for 580AUD and unfortunatly that wont sell as well as it may have 3-4years ago ...

its a buyers market and with other asian brands in the market one that has been around for years before the others ,GO engines with prices as affordable as 250AUD for moded race engines such as the MM MG66 , and other new model GXII for 209....

id say that around the 300-350 mark is the peak selling point... if your not a novarossi or RB then you dont have the leverage/reputation which helps sell the engine even when its more than the cheaper alternative..

wishing the best.

mabe make a come back...

If anyone is interested, I have 2 Rody engines with the TQ label on them, one has about 3 gallons on it with a new rear ceramic bearing and new GRP connecting rod. I also have a brand new engine with the TQ name on it, with new BOCA ceramic bearings.

PM me if interested.

Default manifold

hi. the manifold (192) that goes with the 2034 and 2069 pipes, is the same or different from speed(82) and torque(89) manifold.

Im not for sure, if you are familiar without the RB engines, Rody worked with them for a long time, RB had a header that was 192, looked the same as the Tecnopower, that's what I think its close to, or if not the same.

The manifolds supplied with the 2034/2069 pipe sets are the of the speed(82) type.

In general the pipe sets which are sold have the correct manifold, only of you are looking for more torque you could try and use a longer manifold, or simply change gear-ration to arrive at a similar result.

rody, i have tecnopower b01, t01, b02t and t02t. i didn t get the 2069/2034 pipes because i thought they were simmilar to grp fls pipes(2053) which i have two of them. now im thinking if i should buy a set of either 2069/2034 pipe sets or both, and also a pair of the torque manifold. thanks for all the help.

I never had the chance to try the 2053 pipe on the TecnoPower engine but I think there should be no problem using the grp fls pipes on our engines. I suggest you simply try.

yes i have, its lacks mid and top end power ,
switch to the 2069 and it was astonishing the difference
so much more power and still great fuel economy ..

dont waste your time with a grp pipe, in fact find a hammer and beat
that pipe to pulp ...

Seems like REDS is using the 2034 and 2069 HIPEX pipes aswell.

They list the 2069 as the performance pipe and the 2034 as the more fuel efficient pipe.

Would it be safe to say the 2034 is a low end pipe and the 2069 a top end pipe?

Btw, since REDS is Picco made it is a good possibility these pipes are good on Picco engines aswell.
