All I can say for me this engine is smooth and has plenty of power. I just recently ran the bo1's at motorama in intermediate buggy and truggy where I finished in the C main in both. I was disappointed with my performance however the engine performed fantastic. I never was passed on the straight and had no problems catching the nearest vehicle in front of me. The person who distributes the engines will no longer carry carry the product. And for the price it was reasonable. I very much would like to continue running the tp's however A main I'm sure will list them at a higher cost. I understand tencopower has to eat as well. I would ask just consider pricing them fair.

Furthermore I can't say enough about the motor

I have passed on to HIPEX the remarque for to increase the strenght of their pipes, FYI we are not making the pipes but have a very good relation with HIPEX, they make good pipes at resonable costs.

As for the distribution of TecnoPower in the USA, we are working on a deal so a little more patience.

Looks like Tecnopower has lowered their MSR prices considerably.

This is the MSR pricelist (Europe):

http://www.tecnopower-motor.com/pric..._pricelist.pdf

21 buggy B01i = €165,83 = ~ $223
21 buggy B02 = €211,31 = ~ $285
21 buggy B02T = €290,00 = ~ $391
21 buggy B03 = €263,91 = ~ $356
23 truggy T02 = €213,22 = ~ $287

Prices seem a lot more reasonable now

Hey guys, gotta put a order in soon for a up coming race and I need some spare plugs for my B01 and T01. Ran the H6 plugs and would like to get more but amain is back oredered on these. I'm going to be running my first to races in 50 to 60 degree temps with 30% cold fusion. Any recommendations on a good plug for these. I am new to the Tecnos. Thanks

Thumbs up TecnoPower plugs

This is from the TecnoPower home web site
http://www.tecnopower-motor.com/inde...plug-to-choose
You'll find a chart near the bottom of the page. The H6 covers just about all temps and nitro percentages.

The 2069 is a quite mild pipe but gives good fuelconsumption though..., if you are looking for more power the 2034 might be an option to try too.

Looked at Hipex web-site and they sure made the most of the pipes they have to offer. 3 different 2069 pipes and 2 different 2034 pipes...
And now the 2095 is on the way to, wonder in how many configurations..?
http://www.hipex.it/HIPEX/Products/Products.html

Is there a difference performance wise? They hold the same EFRA numbers.

I didn't have bottom end, that I like, I was going to try the 198 header with the 2069, also, I was using the engine in a truggy, and I have less than a gallon of fuel thru the engine.

I was running the 2069 on the B03 with the highspeed pipe I was getting 11minutes and was running a little rich.

All I can say is Rody hit a homerun with the new line of engines for 2011!

Using the engine in a Truggy requires already more low end power, yes, you can try again with a longer manifold which will increase the torque.
