I would start with a 9901 as a great overall pipe. If your primary focus is making better fuel economy I would choose the 2096. It has slightly less low end which is great if you're racing on a loose track.

For smooth power delivery run a 41021 manifold. Want more punch, go with the 41019. For even more low-end get the 41001. I believe Adam Drake runs the 9901/41001 on all his Novarossi 4 ports.

If you have a Werks 2058 laying around throw that on. You might be pleasantly surprised.

Pretty sure Adam runs the 41021 header most of the time..

Yes, I believe you are correct. I just watch some of his videos on Youtube and his car is equiped with what looks like the short, smooth bend, round 41021 header. Thanks for catching that.

if you want it to make good performance try a 9886/41001..... then if you need to detune it run a 9901/41021 or a 2096/41021

So I just bought a used novarossi 21-4 plus nitro engine, but it has a standard plug button and I would like to use turbo plugs I believe. Is the turbo button head still available for purchase?

thanks

Well got a chance to get the clocked Novarossi Virtus .21 out on the track today in the Xray XB8 buggy as the truggy is all re built ready for the state titles next weekend, just over 1/2 gallon through it and still running it a little rich but its a very smooth supply of grunt.

I am rebuilding a 21-4 plus tight now and noticed that after I has loaded the front bearing up with oil, spun the crank a few times, and let it sit and came back to find the outside of the bearing having oil on it from inside I think. Does this mean I need a new front bearing?

I just can't for the life of me get this engine tuned. Hard starting, won't idle, cuts out when giving it gas. What are the factory settings for the carb? It's a n21bf
