I have not heard any negatives about clockwork, but I honestly would never pay for a modded engine. It's nothing against anyones services which Im sure are spectacular, its just Ive been on the track with some "modded" engines, and Im running a stock mill that I would say is "properly tuned" and they arent any faster than mine. Maybe they get better mileage or have a smoother powerband or some other advantage I dont have, but I havent had any walk on me on the straight or blow me away in the infield. Ive always been curious to own a modded engine just havent seen any that made me say holy sh*t. I cant justify who modded the engines I was up against I just overheard a few conversations about internal engine work and happen to catch them on the track.

I also run a heavier flywheel on bigger tracks and that helps mileage.

Hi.

Why does it help the mileage? :)

And lighter flywheel on small tracks?

Looks like the differance between the Keep-off and the Btt is the rear bearing and the case. Case looks to be just a new model year (12 listed after part number instead of 11)
P/S/R is the same part number. Guess this is the replacement to the BTT. Maybe someone else can confirm.

Not sure on the 21-4 but the new KeepOff 21 7xl was originally supposed to replace the Bonito Ceremic rear version but that has since changed and will remain available. Aside from the new case/rear bearing/cooling head graphics it is a Bonito.

Maybe "keep off" somehow sounds really cool in Italian?...

Maybe you Novarossi people can shorten it to "K.O." or something, to make it sound less ridiculous.. I'm gonna' get me an OS Poopy Pants.

rider313 01-31-2013 07:40 AM

It means to keep off the engine head and to stay on the wheels.
