pipe
Mark, just try a new pipe. I have alot of pipes you can try at the next race. I love my Fusion mod B3 with TKO Bearings and Novarossi carb with a B-Mods head. I just run a 086 pipe and got second at the King of the desert race with it at ET and that track has a 120ft straight and there was not a motor out there that would pull it.

The B7 is ridiculous. So fast. A bit weak on bottom, but it revs to the moon.
I know what the B5 does and I like it. I just drive my truggy different than my buggy. My truggy may as well have a zip tie on the throttle. Not the case with the buggy. So there is a B7, and a B7 Pro-C? |

Markhat, to get more top run either a 2057 or 2013pipe. The 053 actually on these engines brings more on the bottom and falls of on the top. If you cant get a 2057 or 2013 then even a 086 pipe will be way better than the 053. I also have a B7 and it does have more top but it also has a lot less bottom. If you dont need a lot of bottom then the B7 will be great for long tracks. If your track is that open you can also go up on the clutch bell 1 tooth or even 2.

alright..I'm going to try a top end pipe and see. Thanks for all your input folks.

pipes are cheaper than b7 pro's

All I can say is WOW :D !! The B5 in my RC8B preformed outstanding this weekend in the 15th Annual Lone Star Classic in Garland Tx. Did not get a chance to make some good fuel miliage runs do to me just getting this motor last week and very little practice but I did manage to qualify 7th in the A for Sportsman Buggy but broke an upper turnbuckle around the 35-37 min mark of a 45 min. main. I believe it will go around 9min with a the JP3 pipe and a 7.5 rest. This motor has tons of low end!! I allready placed another order for a B5 for a back up!!!!

I keep telling you guys to try a 2035 pipe. I think youll be really suprised. I raced sat. with one and being the rookie I am, first race season. I could hang with anything down the straights. Its very torky on the bottom, good mid and good top.

I'm running a 2035 with the B5. When it stops raining so I can get to the track and finish break in, I'll give her a good romp and see what she can do:cool:
hdcruzer, thanks for the tip on the pipe. Looking forward to getting some more feedback from others on it! |

Hey Lance, thanks for the feedback on your engine! What were you running before and how does the performance and run time compare if you don't mind me asking?
